About this session
Many people who stay active begin to notice changes over time — in their joints, recovery, energy, or how their body responds to exercise.
Things that used to feel straightforward can become more unpredictable. Aches linger, recovery takes longer, and it’s not always clear what’s normal and what isn’t.
Often, it isn’t a lack of effort or motivation.
It’s that the body is changing — and without a clear understanding of why, it’s difficult to know what to do next.
This evening is a chance to step back, understand what may be happening beneath the surface, and start to make sense of what your next step could look like.
— Dr Manisha
What we’ll explore
Why active people start to notice changes — in joints, recovery and energy
The common patterns that often get missed
Why standard advice doesn’t always lead to lasting improvement
How to think about your next step — including strength, nutrition and medical input
Dr Manisha will be joined by the team from Merseyside Health, who will add their perspective on movement and nutrition.
Who this is for
This session is for you if you:
Are already active and want to better understand how your body is working
Have started to notice changes in your joints, recovery or energy
Have ongoing aches, stiffness or niggles that don’t fully settle
Feel unsure what’s normal and what’s not
Want to understand how to optimise your joint health and stay active long-term
About Dr Manisha
Dr Manisha is a GP with nearly 25 years of experience and founder of The Liverpool Clinic.
She works with people — particularly women over 30 — who want to stay active, capable and independent, but are starting to notice changes in their joints, recovery, energy or overall resilience.
Many are already doing the right things, but still don’t feel quite right — and don’t have a clear explanation why.
Her approach is built around the AROGA framework, which looks at five key areas of health:
Activity – strength, movement and physical capacity
Rest & Recovery – sleep and how the body repairs
Optimisation – overall health and resilience
Gut Health – nutrition and internal balance
Alignment – how the body is functioning day to day
By looking at these areas together — rather than in isolation — she helps patients understand what’s actually driving their symptoms, and how to move forward with clarity and confidence.
About The Liverpool Clinic
The Liverpool Clinic is a doctor-led clinic specialising in joint and tendon conditions.
We focus on delivering effective, targeted treatments — including advanced and ultrasound-guided injection therapies — supported by specialist radiology.
Our approach is to identify what’s driving the problem and treat it appropriately, so patients can move better and get back to doing what matters to them.

After the session: your next step
For many people, the hardest part isn’t recognising that something has changed — it’s knowing where to start.
At the end of the session, you’ll be invited to take a simple next step to help you begin to make sense of your own situation more clearly.
A simple way to get clarity
This is a short, structured check of your current health and how your body is functioning day to day.
It looks at areas like:
strength and activity
recovery and sleep
overall health and resilience
nutrition
how your body is responding
It’s designed to give you a clearer starting point — so you’re not guessing what to focus on next.
